Meet Our Staff
Stephanie M. Clark is founder & CEO of MDK.She has worked in the non-profit industry for the past 15 years.Ms. Clark worked for two nonprofit organizations over an eight-year period in the roles of Marketing & PR Director for the Museum of African American History in Detroit, MI and Marketing & Sales Director for Crossroads Theatre Company in New Brunswick, NJ.While at both nonprofits, she participated as part of the leadership team in a two-year program for nonprofit management funded by the Minneapolis Foundation/Ford Foundation where she received training in all facets of operating a nonprofit organization.She has a B.S. degree in Business Administration and received a certificate of completion from Fordham University for participating in an accelerated program in Nonprofit Marketing and Management. In April 2003, she was nominated and chosen one of three women in New Jersey to receive the prestigious "Women as Agents of Change" Award from the American Association of University Women. In 2004, Ms. Clark received several awards and honors including Central Jersey's Women Who Make Magic - Class of 2004; national recognition as one of 100 women selected for the 2004 Charming Shoppes VOICES awards who make a difference in their communities; Russ Berrie Awards for Unsung Heroes; the Nu Xi Omega Chapter of AKA Sorority, Inc. P.E.A.R.L. Award for the Black Family; the Celebration of Life Award; and the BlackNJ.com's Community Service Award. She serves on the Young Women Action Agenda subcommittee for the NJ Juvenile Justice Commission (JJC), the Prevention & Early Intervention subcommittee for JJC; New Brunswick Tomorrow Youth Task Force; Middlesex County Youth Council and the Women's Fund of NJ's Board of Directors. She resides in Central New Jersey with her daughter.
