Top four films/shows to watch with your daughter

Looking for something to watch with your daughter? Catch up on one of these T.V. shows or films and share a laugh over other mother-daughter relationships.4. Nicholas Sparks’ The Last Song Not usually an advocate for Miley Cyrus movies, this one is great for moms and daughters. Earning our number four spot because it’s actually about dads and daughters, you’ll appreciate it more than her dad will. Alongside the film’s romance between Ronnie (Cyrus) and Will (Liam Hemsworth), there’s a story about the relationship between family members. Greg Kinnear stars at Ronnie’s father, Steve Miller.3. Anywhere But Here Susan Sarandon (Mr. Woodcock) and Natalie Portman (Star Wars) star as Adele and Ann August. Ann doesn’t get along with her mom, and as a result, wants to be anywhere but where she is. However, Adele has other dreams for her daughter. Anywhere but Here is a classic tale of the communication gap between moms and daughters.2. Gilmore Girls- Is a quick witted T.V. drama telling the story of a single mom (Lorelai) and her daughter (Rory). Occasionally you’re giving a look into Lorelai’s life with her mom, which further shows that moms do understand what their daughters are going through. The show stars Lauren Graham (Evan Almighty) and Alexis Bledel (Sin City). While the show is over, you can still rent the season DVDs from Netflix or watch it from the beginning starting September 7th on ABC.1. Because I said So- Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore star in this mother/daughter comedy. Mandy’s character, Milly, is the only one of Daphne’s (Keaton) daughters who isn’t married. Continuously dating guys that her mom doesn’t approve of, Daphne takes Milly’s relationship into her own hands. Also starring Lauren Graham (“Gilmore Girls”) and Piper Perabo (Coyote Ugly), you’re bound to laugh over the battle between who knows best.
